Although PUMA Suede started as a work out shoe, it was transformed into a streetwear symbol, with the blooming of hip hop music in the Bronx, conquering the world inside and out of the courts!

In street dances, in dance scenes all over the world, in the classrooms Puma Suede became the mainstream part of the B-Boy scene. The word B-Boy comes from the union of the words "Break Boy" that first appeared in New York. In the early 1970s Dj Kool Herc was playing the “breaks” of songs, mixing ,creating a powerful kind of dance music. A music that his footsteps had Suede signature!

With its smooth suede surface, gorgeous colors that matched even the most incredible costume combinations of clothes and rubber sole with the characteristic pattern, the Puma Suede became the necessary B-Boys fashion item. 50 years later, in order to pay tribute to the B-Boy culture, PUMA presents the B-Boy collection.
