NEW ERA was mainly introduced through the underground style of Hip Hop and HardCore Punk music.
The NBA and the NFL spiced the brand a bit more with their magic & glamour.
But let us stay focused on the brand itself.
Surprisingly, this brand exists since the 1920s!
At the time, a German immigrant Ehrhardt Koch grabbed the chance and he did the unexpected! He borrowed $1000 from his sister and a fellow co-worker of his previous company ((John Miller Cap Company) and launched a new small venture named E. Koch Cap Co. which later on became the very well known NEW ERA.
Having a massive uprising route, back in the 30s, NEW ERA meets the difficulty that Caps are not in fashion anymore. So the brand decided to turn their interest to a more sporty style and concept. Baseball was the best way to do so! The 1st cap ever constructed for a baseball team was at the year of 1934 for Cleveland Indians!
But let’s quickly jump to the lovely present and declare all kinds of madness for NEW ERA’s crafts. More than a thousand designs are out there and yes-oh-yes WE WANT THEM ALL!
